Group Estate Planning Service
Group Estate Planning Service is designed for groups of 5 or more participants. On-site estate planning classes for members are also offered. Sponsorship by an employer or organization results in reduced fees for services provided to each participant. Contact our office to arrange estate planning services for a group.
Participants will complete these steps to use the Group Estate Planning Service:
Step 1: Complete a Client Worksheet
Each participant must complete a Client Worksheet prior to their consultation. The Client Worksheet organizes all information necessary for a telephone conference to discuss and select an estate plan.
Step 2: Schedule a Telephone Conference
Upon receipt of the worksheet, we will contact the participant to schedule a telephone conference. Appointments outside of normal business hours are available upon request.
Step 3: Sign the Estate Planning Documents
Documents will be drafted after one or more consultations. The documents will be secured with a password, and delivered by e-mail for review. Changes are permitted for up to 30 days at no charge. Participants sign the documents by using the step-by-step instructions provided to them.
Step 4: Complete the Estate Plan
In most cases, an estate plan is not finished when the documents are signed. Follow-up instructions will be provided to complete the plan. For example, this may include changing beneficiaries on financial accounts or life insurance, and storing documents in a secure location.
